This 3-level program is designed to take students from foundational Arabic letter recognition to the confident, accurate, and beautiful recitation of the Qur'an as it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Men and Women, 12 Years and Above
Level 1: Foundations of Pronunciation (Weeks 1–6)
6 Lessons
Classes 1–2: Introduction to Tajweed & Makharij (Throat & Tongue) Understanding the precise articulation points for Arabic letters produced from the throat and tongue.
Classes 3–4: Makharij (Lips & Nasal Cavity) Mastering letters produced from the lips and the nasal passage (Ghunnah).
Classes 5–6: Characteristics of Letters (Sifat) Recognizing the inherent qualities of each letter (e.g., whispering, heaviness, softness).
Classes 7–8: Short & Long Vowels Mastering Fatha, Kasra, Damma, and foundational stretching (Madd).
Classes 9–10: The Rules of Shaddah Emphasizing double letters with specific focus on Ghunnah for Noon and Meem.
Classes 11–12: Practical Application Reading Al-Fatiha and Al-Ikhlas with correct letter articulation.
Level 2: The Core Rules of Tajweed (Weeks 7–12)
6 Lessons
Classes 13–14: Noon Saakinah & Tanween — Izhar The rule of clear pronunciation when Noon Saakinah is followed by throat letters.
Classes 15–16: The Rule of Idgham Merging Noon Saakinah into the following letter, with and without Ghunnah.
Classes 17–18: Ikhfa & Iqlab The rules of hiding (Ikhfa) and converting (Iqlab) Noon Saakinah.
Classes 19–20: The Rules of Meem Saakinah Ikhfa Shafawi, Idgham Shafawi, and Izhar Shafawi.
Classes 21–22: The Rules of Qalqalah (Echoing) Recognizing the five echoing letters and applying them correctly mid-word and at stops.
Classes 23–24: Level 2 Live Recitation Exam Applying Noon and Meem Saakinah rules to Juz 'Amma (Part 30).
Level 3: Nuance, Tone & Mastery (Weeks 13–18)
6 Lessons
Classes 25–26: Tafkheem & Tarqeeq The concepts of thickening (heaviness) and lightening (lightness/emptiness) in Arabic letters.
Classes 27–28: The Specific Rules of the Letter Raa When to read Raa heavy vs. light — one of the most nuanced rules in Tajweed.
Classes 29–30: The Specific Rules of Alif & Laam The Lam Sakinah and the majestic Lam of Allah's name.
Classes 31–32: The Rules of Madd (Prolongation) Differentiating between natural (Tabi'i), obligatory (Wajib), and permissible (Ja'iz) stretching.
Classes 33–34: The Rules of Waqf & Ibtida Knowing where to pause and resume to preserve the meaning of the verses.
Classes 35–36: Final Recitation & Certification Full recitation assessment evaluating all learned Tajweed principles.

Assessment & Certification

Continuous evaluation through live recitation activities. A minimum attendance of 90% is required to pass each level.
